Ocean Youth is coming to Tassie!

Ocean Youth is coming to Tasmania!
OY Coordinator, Emma, has an exciting school holiday program planned with activities occurring over 6 days along the iconic kanamaluka/Tamar estuary from Launceston, out to the ocean at Low Head.
Sessions are set to include:
  • ‘Wetland Discovery Session’ at the Tamar Island Wetlands Centre.
  • ‘Conservation and Science’ with the Australian Maritime College and the University of Tasmania.
  • ‘Saltmarsh Monitoring Citizen Science’ session.
  • ‘Caring for Penguins and Whales’ with the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE).
  • ‘The Plastic Solution’ with Plastic Free Launceston.
