Today, it’s time to head to the estuary! Meeting at the Ahuriri estuary, the group will have a talk about the environment they will be exploring – then it’s time to head out on the water! Participants will will explore the environment with paddle boards with Pandora Ponds Paddle Boards!
To cap the day off, the NANZ team will walk participants through estuary ecology and biodiversity, as well as issues facing this ecosystem locally and nationally.
