Happy World Turtle Day (for 23rd May).
Today you’ll be meeting Tereza Todd, Aquarist and turtle rehab extraordinaire. She’ll introduce you to turtles of the world, talking about their physiology, distribution, and other turtley awesome facts. We’ll then cover issues that turtles face and how they end up in turtle rehab here are Sea Life, before discussing some of our past turtle releases.
If time permits, we’ll head back of house so you can see where the magic happens, meet our resident ambassador Flat Backs, Thorpey and Moana, and finish of with any questions you might have for our expert!
What to bring: Ocean Youth is a single use plastic free program so please bring a reusable water bottle, coffee cup, bag and snacks or food in reusable containers. Dinner is not included in the workshop so bring money for dinner if you’re not bringing your own.
