Axel – Youth Leaders in Action

Axel has been an active ocean advocate for as long as he can remember. Now a secondary student at Sydney Secondary College Balmain campus he has taken his advocacy to another level. Part of that leadership and advocacy journey led to being an Ocean Youth Ambassador to share and amplify youth voices for ocean health and innovation.
Axel was one of six Ocean Youth Ambassadors chosen to represent youth voices at Innovocean 2023, an ocean impact and innovation event for businesses and hosted by our friends at Ocean Impact Organisation.

Axel demonstrates his leadership through supporting other young people and including them in important discussions, events and campaigns where the next generation should be heard and represented.
