SEA LIFE Conservation Trust Inc. t/a Ocean Future Fund is a non-profit, marine conservation organisation that empowers tomorrow’s leaders through inspirational experiences and science based education. Ocean Future Fund is hte new home of Ocean Youth, and works collaboratively with SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium as a key delivery partner to conserve world’s oceans.
In 2020 SEA LIFE Melbourne will be hosting our annual Ocean Youth program for young, passionate teens aged between 13-17 years old. This program equips the youth of today with the skills and knowledge necessary to take on tomorrow’s environmental challenges and develop their skills in marine conservation.
We’d love to have you join the program & want you to get the most out of it so if you’re keen to join us you need to:
1. Be between the ages of 13 – 17 for the duration of the program
2. Be able to commit to one weekend per term/quarter for excursions and workshops held both at SEA LIFE Melbourne, and externally.
3. Be keen to meet like-minded people who care as much as you about our beautiful blue planet.
4. Collaborate on developing solutions-focused projects, which may secure an OY micro-grant;
5. Agree to cover $250 cost per successful ambassador.
If this sounds like you, you must attend our compulsory Information Day on February 15th with a Parent or Guardian . This Information session will outline the Ocean Youth program for 2020. Places are limited so book your spot below!
