Details: Please arrive prior to 10:00am for this workshop as we will be getting right into our guest speaker presentation at 10:00am.

Part 1 – Habitat Destruction Workshop
Time: 10:00 am – 11: 30 pm
Location: Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium – Education Room
Details: Today you’ll be meeting Ashley Whitt from The Nature Conservancy. She’ll be talking to you about Habitat Restoration in our very own Port Phillip Bay!

BREAK – 11:30 – 11:50 pm

Part 2 – Event Planning Workshop
Time: 11:50 – 1:00
Location: Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium – Education Room
Details: In this session, you’ll be working with Cassi, Sea Life Melbourne’s Event Planner! She’ll introduce you to what it takes to plan and event, and you’ll be planning your very own Pitch Fest!

BREAK – 1:00 – 1:30

Part 3 – Project Ideation Workshop
Time: 1:30 – 2:30 pm
Location: Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium – Education Room
Details: Due to a change in circumstances, instead of doing a fundraising workshop, we will be beginning with Project Ideation.
Today we’re going to be looking into the beginning of your projects. We’ll talk about what topics to choose from, projects of the past, and what to focus on throughout the year!
You will also be deciding today if you want to do your project on your own, or in groups (4 max.), and begin to brainstorm your very own project for presenting at Pitch Fest!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Please bring along a notebook and a pen, and lunch or money for lunch from our café.
