We all know rubbish on beaches is and, but do we know and understand where the rubbish is coming from in the first place? Having this information is crucial to stemming the tide of rubbish pollution at it’s source – and that’s where Litter Intelligence comes in!
In this workshop you’ll be conducing a litter clean up and audit at a local beach, and contributing to a national database seeking to figure out once and for all what type of rubbish is causing the issue and where it is coming from. You’ll learn the importance and role of citizen science, and how you can get involved on an on-going basis.
